Ahoy Sailor - Hens Night OOTD
If there is one thing that motivates me to stay on my healthy eating lifestyle, it is social gatherings.
It starts with the RSVP to attend your friends hens night, “Oh It’s a life drawing class and a boat ride down the Yarra. Followed by a boogie at a busy club int he city”
Fun!!!
“And what?? It’s a themed night … Ahoy Sailor””.
What to wear??
I don’t know about you, but in the past I have dreaded the day long (week long in some cases) expeditions to the shops for the perfect outfit to hide and accentuate at the same time. Always exhausted from the shopping, both physically and emotionally.
But not this time!!
I have decided not to care about what size I buy as long as it looks appropriate.
I made the decision not to go costume shopping as they rarely have the right size and usually costumes don’t flatter me in any way.
Naturally I visited Pintrest and started my search with the word “Salor”…. Doh!!
I mean “Sailor”, the images were surprisingly easy to replicate:
White
Navy blue
Stripes
Red
50’s
Pencil skirt or white shorts
Captains hat!!
With this in mind I set off to the local shopping centre. To my surprise the 3rd shop I walked into seems to have known I was coming. After trying a few combinations on I had found two, in varying sizes, (side note I fit back into a 14) outfits. I bought both!!
(Shorts Cotto:On $39.95, Singlet Cotton:On $19.95 (or 2 for $30), Capetans hat $4, Nairl polish K-Mart $5, Accessories: Earings, Gold ring Gold Chane and Watch from Lavisa)
And so without here is what I came up with up with:
(Shoes Marcela Yil Spain, Skirt Cotto:On $19.95, Singlet Cotton:On $19.95 (or 2 for $30), Cloor sweeper Cardi Cotton:On $39.95)
